Barry my friend, what's he talking about:

tindelgado

HVX hard drive well the good news is that Panasonic will come out with a hard drive this coming March. It will be fitted to the PS2 slots. The question is, how much will they run for?

Who is he? And where is the link?

How does he know? And how does he support the statement?

And that red is tough to read.

I was browsing a forum on camcorderinfo.com i think... barry has some posts above this guy's, but that was the last post on the thread.

I wouldn't give too much credibility to the post -- the poster you mentioned ("tindelgado") has made only one post so far, and it's been the one you are referring to.

I wonder if tindelgado is confusing the Cineporter with a Panasonic product.

I don't know of any official Panasonic hard drive unit being planned. And while it is possible he was thinking of the Cineporter, I'm guessing it is more likely he was thinking of Sony's new hard drive attachment for their upcoming line of Hi-Def cams.
