Thanks, everyone. I was off my PC for a while over the holidays so I hope everybody had a good one!

I'm back on track and working on securing a location now.
Got a new tripod and new head over the holidays.

I can now kick the old one with the busted leg to the curb. If you saw it you would know what a huge upgrade this is.
When actors start to tease you about it you know it's time.

This is how crappy my old one was... it doesn't come with a removable head.
And the head it does have is for still photography.

I'll post the pic of the new tri-pod later when I find it.
Looks a lot like this one...

Nothing too heavy duty but the new HDV head that I have will make it quite useful.

Rod, I may. I may try renting something else. I'll have to see what I can come up with.

Rodney, this tripod will get the bulk of the use. Nice and easy to sit on the dolly as well. I know a guy that will lend me a much stronger one when I go to shoot so I'm good for the crane when I need it.

Well that's a relief. The tripod is usually the weak point of a jib system. Well that and inferior materials... but you don't have that worry since you have the much vaunted Kessler. Good to know you'll be rocking the Kessler PLUS the dolly... that in combination with your script... damn you!
