John, something that you might want to think about and maybe set up. Continuity of the zombie makeup/effects.
I think you should be the one that sets up the world in the first episode and your "zombies" should be what everyone aspires to. But as different contributers will have access different levels of make up effects and special and visual effects, maybe you could set up that the virus affects different "undead" in different ways. They are still basically all classic zombies but they may have slight differences.
Does that sound crazy?
That sounds like a good idea. The zombies could easily look a little different from episode to episode. Hell, look at Night of the Living Dead... as the movie goes on, the zombie makeup gets better and better.
Still missing some truth though; lacking in design and space issues I think. Nevertheless, just playing for inspiration (can't use the zombie art work as it belongs to something else)

That I assumed. A **** load of fellas here could do as well and better on their 15 minute coffee break so that's minor.
Originally envisioned as a serial horror adveture of sorts I wanted the classic retro homage of EC and similar 'Horror Comics'. The actual films will not be campy; they will be gritty, real, taxi driver meets the undead type of shite.
Whether or not the site PIMPS it as Classic Retro or Modern Gritty is a tough call and the designs have to be worked out.
For those of you that plan to contibute; feel free to buzz in!
I hear you John. I completely get it. I really liked the EC style for a web layout, but I think then it's kind of strange if the episodes don't have the same feel. The gritty modern style is cool and will suit the actual video stuff way more, but is less original. My final take would be keeping it all the same thematically. if the films are gritty, make the site gritty.
