DAMNIT!

I'm away for few days and THAT'S when u decide to spring this?!?!

I've been wanting for you to get this going since i heard you bring it up MONTHS ago. Thank god its coming to life.

Dude, I cant wait to get my fingers into this. Its amazing how involved everyone is at this site, it's been a god send to me in learning how to use my new camera, but this, John, is the next step in our evolving community...

Think about it... has this ever been done? Imagine if after watching your favorite show... you decided to go out and shoot an episode, full aware it would get the same venue your favorite ep got. That's revolutionary.

Anyway, sry, just wanted to show just how excited and thankful i am to Jarred and everyone, and to John for this great idea. If I have any suggestions or input, I'll have to post later, i'm too blown away to think of anything constructive right now  :D

Been said but gotta say it again... This is a very cool concept with the team work and serial idea. I think you are onto something big here Hudson. 8)

Yes. An Ongoing, Episodic, Serial Based, Survival Horror in the vien of Deaths Apocalypse. Episodes from all over the damn place and for people to follow.

Pretty cool!

FYI

When you log in, be sure to read back a few pages where you left off as new info is constantly being posted (as in some backstory stuff last page!)

Here's another thought.

Let's say people are watching these episodes; san diego, minnesota, alaska, vancouver, wherever....

They become attached to certain episodes via characters, filmmaker style, quality of production, etc etc etc

We could have a kind of POLLING where the audience dicates some storylines from time to time; having certain characters killed off, introduction of new characters, backstories on these characters lives during the onset and outbreak....

The audience could have a hand in the direction these go (when allowed of course by us filmmakers)....

lol that sounds cool, but I think it should go through the creators of those characters and stories before the community kills of a character the creators had plans for, etc.

Just to chime in on a few pages back: Yes, every submission should go through John in script form first. I dont like flying pigs either, glad we're together on that one

When do u shoot this first episode John? Im eager for any info u can share? Do u have a script? where u going to shoot it? how shoon before we can see the ep? a clip? a grab? Do u have someone doing makeup?

We shoot Saturday and Sunday. We have a script (although I only have the Hard Copy on me). It has more in I AM LEGEND than DAWN or 28 DAYS; we have 9 or 10 people either helping or being.

This is not the FIRST OFFICIAL contribution to UNDEAD NATION but more a Test Footage weekend of style, design and FX. We even have a brain shot blood platter rig, sand bags, generators, etc

I'll post grabs as soon as possible (saturday night maybe?) but SUNDAY we will be done shooting and I'll start the EDIT that week.

We will go into a serious PRE-PROD after this and cast for our main PROTAG and other characters for our SERIAL.

Make is going to suck; our make-up girl cant make it (she is working). But we do have a 'Tromette' showing up.
