The Pussies of Death - Interview

Hi guys,

this is a Interview i just shoot with the leadsinger of the german band 'The Pussies of Death'.
THey are making a mix between stoner rock, rock and pop. I know their name sounds a bit harsh, but they are pretty sweet guys.

the interview is in german and i will ad some subtitels later, but this is really a question about my picture language and the cutting.

i would appreciate feedback!

Great job Peter.
Im 20 % procent german and dont understand a word ! :)

Personnally I would bring the audio of the song at the end in the beginning .
Or if you still like the live soundbite of the live song I would give it a few more frames if its posible ....the cut is abit to abrupt for my taste at beginning. Just a wee bit !

Love the wide shots of the interviews .
If your gonna do cutaways to faces and part of the body give the viewer some time to see it. Most of them are good though.

And one more thing I noticed is the frameblending in the slowed down footage. Try and turn frameblending off to see if that yields better results.
But sometimes frameblending gives a certain effect if that is what u were going for good !

And last Its hard to part with shots you made your self but I would get rid of the shot at 0.35 sec .It doesnt do the other shots justice looks a bit overexposed.

This is just my opion. Keep it up !
 
thx for your feedback, i'll get rid of that shot, and i'll try giving those closeups more time. i'll try that, let's see how it works.

yeah peter, he's kind of bringing his words to birth :)

sound will be fixed in the interview section, the sound in the beginning, is meant to be a bit hard cutted.

i would appreciate feedback!

I like the images but the poor quality of the sound undermines the product. I was taken out of it because I was thinking about the sound.
 
it was shoot with a 7D,
sound is in camera, that´s a gamekiller.
i´ll ad subtitels tomorrow, so you guys will get the words.

it´s a shame, there´s no headphone jack on the 7D, that would have helped me.
would you say the zoom H4n is a big improvement?
