The Official "Next Fest" Idea Submission Thread

Monsters, Zombies, Vampires, etc, etc... That stuff will all be encompassed by monsterfest, but trying to leave it open for folks who want to get creative.

well considering the next fest is going to end so close to valentines day....im assuming its gonna have something to do with love....id rather it not but if i does i have a couple ideas i could work with....i'm hoping they just neglect valentines day a do something much cooler for a theme....but only time will tell
 
typically we cycle through three broad themes a year...

DARK FICTION (fall)
DRAMATIC WORKS (winter/spring)
POPCORN MOVIES (summer)

We have a good one in mind, but please offer up your ideas. the last couple have all come from community recommendations. Keep in mind that the next fest follows in the tradition of human interaction, compelling dramatic narratives, and a focus on character work and dialogue. the intent is to nurture the part of filmmaking that lies at the heart of our movies... the characters.

We've already done DramaFest, LoveFest & LossFest during this time of year. I can't wait to see the films produced next!
 
give us an end of the world type fest. Now that'd be fun. But then it might be boring to watch all films with the world ending. But hey still a good thought.
 
very true, well wether the film deals with love, something coming to an end, saving something/someone. I have a great idea that can fit it all. But something about Ending would be really fun to do.
 
I doubt it will be crimefest next. They usually do touchy-feely fests in winter. How about Cuddle-Fest? I will fly to Texas and make a movie with JACK called "Two Bears Six Minute Cuddle-a-thon" Mmmm, yeah, let it sink in...
 
PassionFest... A film of intense emotions, strong sexual desire, love, hate, emotional outbursts, obsession, enthusiasm.
 
you guys are thinking too "lovey dovey" :)

it's human drama.... not necessarily sappyfest... and we already had "LoveFest" :)

keep the ideas coming... we always come here when it's time to think about the next fest ideas and such...

we're ahead of the game this time though, and I think you guys are going to love it.
