Thank god the BMCC wasn´t delivered, yet. Maybe I´m going to sell my FS700 and go for a (then even cheaper) F3 or the new "F". Can´t wait!!!

-This is why so many Producers and clients want a C300 or RED over a F3. Because they've never heard of it!!.. We've discussed it before, Sony needs to be screaming from the mountain top and hyping the hell out of the F series. I talk to people who aren't even in the industry and they've heard of the C300 and 5D.

"F" in Sony camera naming tradition has always been a camera, to my knowledge. At least in the last 10 years.

The model number is F4
Internal 4K recorder
Price $ 10,000

Could be a 2K, 1080 60 or 120p, 422 50mbps camera and not 4K. Which would be 100% fantastic for me and probably the other 90% of people who have no real need for 4K. This would put the F3's internal resolution, frame rate and codec at par or better then all of it's competition and be ever so closer to Alexa "territory" and I say territory very loosely.

as Sony said the future is 4k it's surely is something about 4k.
external recorder? would be nice for 4k : SSD, dual SDI 1080p60 form my f3... might be a buy...
F4... 4 is bad luck in Japanese so i don't think so..
