Hi guys!!!
Finally i found time to upload our entry.
According to dvxuser, their definition of rated R is pretty wide so i hope our shortfilm is not a problem for the american audience. ;D
We shot this on a saturday afternoon with minimum equipment and crew and almost no lights. Guerilla style!

nice, if that's not a reason to put you on the "watch first" list, i don't know what is. Congrats on the upload. bring it on, the US of A can handle it. :)

Cazcam, it'll be great to see filmmaking from a woman's perspective. And I'm like everybody else - Rated "R". I'm in! Nice pic BTW.
 
Great! A film from Spain, directed by a lady, and a "wide R rating" to boot. This fest gets more interesting by the minute.

This was very beautiful. Beautifully shot and acted. I'm not really sure how the theme related directly to this contest but I thought it was a very well presented moment in time. At first I thought the nudity might be a gimmick but I see how it worked for the vulnerability of the female lead. I really loved the atmosphere of this piece.

One of my favorites so far. Very nicely done.

Additional comments after re-watching:

There's a shot at 1:32 which I love where the camera pans quickly up and then down again, it really conveys how this experience must feel for her. I love the coloring overall, the location, and the end music. And your actress is so vulnerable and innocent that it is almost uncomfortable to watch which is part of what really makes this work. You approach this subject with such tenderness that I feel like this might be a very personal piece for you. How much direction did you give your actors?

Your piece is the weakest in terms of clearly being about time, but that being said I still think you have one of the strongest shorts. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future.

Can you give us some info about your equipment, etc?

Very well done. Looked great! Your actors were very good. I felt your directing was very assured, you must have made a few films before this one.

My only critique would be that the time theme element was pretty slim, and that it felt more like a scene than a short film. In any case, I liked it alot.
 
This short was very beautifully shot, But doesn't tell a story.

It's an Idea, granted one we can all relate to, but still just that, An Idea.

I didn't care for either of the characters even once. The guy seemed carelessly humping and the girl had no background so who cares if he deflowers her and then leaves? You need to make me feel the connection to the character instead of just pointing out something that happens sometimes in all of our lives.

Also, It doesn't fit the theme at all. I'm not sure how time factors into this. Is it just a matter of time before he calls her? Was it that it didn't take much time for her to lose her virginity (something that is significant and therefore should take some time)?

I'd like to hear your thoughts about this.
