We shot using the HVX with the Redrock M2 adapter. Shot in 1080 in Cine D. Got some pretty cool shots, but had to cut a really great rack focus shot to make the 6 minute time.

Question for the Moderators- when is it permissible to post a longer cut of your short? After deadline or after voting is completed?

Love the actress ;-) My crew has only 2 people. I was able to enlist the actors/actress to carry the equipment sometimes also :-).
 
Good looking actress.

I'm not a mod, but I think in the past everyone has needed to wait till voting is over before posting other versions (or posting the same film on other websites)
 
ah, the move, things have changed, not exactly sure when the move will happen. Gary and I we're going to move together down there, but I was offered a "promotion" at work, so I'll stick it out here for a few more months, maaybe end of year? I'm not sure just yet.

but we should get the waco crew and austin crews together and work on next fest! if the script I have now fits, I wanna shoot it for then, but I and going all out for this script! I love it!
 
Excellent! Shoot me the script, I'd love to read it. I've got an idea for the next one myself, assuming it's a Halloween/Horror genre. Maybe we can combine productions and knock out two of 'em.

Yeah, I agree with Jon... this film was a HUGE learning experience. For instance, organizing your own auditions and film shoots? Pain - in - the - a$$.

Putting it all together? That's the fun part. :)

My wife's grandfather is from Stuttgart. Apparently still have some family over there. But I understand Heinzmann in Germany is like "Smith" in the U.S.

Hey that's great, I need to make a transatlantic trip for some geneaology research. I'll plan it so I can take in OctoberFest as well!
