The faster the speed, the bigger the mess...

Link? LINK!?

Oh yeah dude... it was nuts... the guy's brain complete with brain stem lands on the priest's head like an english powdered wig and then the cam angle and lighting changes to make him look like a judge from a British court... he then points directly into the camera with a gavel as he progressively raises his voice... "guilty!...GUILTY!... GUILTY!"

That sure slowed me down while I was driving my aston martin through the english countryside... with my girlfriend claudia schiffer... who I had sex with.

Quit teasin and post the link dammitt......

Dude it's comedy... to see the actual vision you'd have to be psychic and tap into my brainwaves... I made that sh*t up.

I realize by my avatar it would be no surprise to think that I'd be dating Claudia Schiffer... but that too... is... um... "wimsy" :)

Hey, I was just egging you on Matt--- throwing a little gas on the fire.
Going from the original post up through the visual of a guys' brain turning into a judges wig at communion after rearending a semi was quite ride!!!:D

I don't mind at all that this sort of thing isn't done here. The shock value far exceeds the "awareness" value.

If it saves at least one life it has done it's job.

Doesn't matter if it's shocking or not. You see far more disturbing things on the news and people watch worse things for entertainment. But it still might affect one person to drive slower, so thats a good thing.

No, that's used to attempt to justify a lot of things which shouldn't be.

When the shock value exceeds the social value, then it's too much. I think that's the case here.

I mean, you don't need to see a woman's face boil off her head to understand the concept of workplace safety.

David... I respectfully disagree. I think there should be a PSA which ends with something similar to the ark scene from Raiders. Nothing drives a point about safety home better then melting nazis :)

"Hey kids! Don't touch the thermostat or THIS could happen to YOU!"

The one after that one is even better.

Wow... that definitely gets the point across.

I've always wanted to do a parody of work safety videos... First show a company with metal presses and stuff that's lopping off fingers and appendages of careless employees left and right... boss decides to start a work safety program... finds a mysterious company with devastatingly effective work safe videos... orders one for "machine shop safety"... the video turns out to be girls in bikinis all working the big machinery as they're explaining the safety hazards... the work force is GLUED to the screening... the next day the factory works like one of those Visa commercials where everything is like a well-oiled machine...

There's a little more to it then that... but you get the gist... and I'd rather watch hot girls then accident victims... I actually think the shock value (or whatever it is in these videos) is so far over the top, that it goes beyond teaching a lesson into something different... but then again I don't think you could watch one of those PSAs and NOT think about it when you find yourself in that situation.

Quest Fest?

Thats what makes it funny for me... the seriousness mixed with the music while showing something like a dude who would sooner roll his ride and take out a swarm of people than nail a dog in the road.
They have a series of these on streetfire.net if ya wanna curl up with a warm cup and giggle for a bit.

A good reply video would be a similar PSA for dogs that don't look both ways before crossing the street... and of course the dog would explode on impact showering his doggy wife and new litter of puppies with entrails as the doggy wife looks to the sky (crane shot raising up) "why? whyyyyyyy... couldn't you look both ways?"
