"the economy of mercy" - 60 second film

I really liked this. I would like to have seen a little more as to maybe the plight of the other person, but it's not necessary (and I may change my mind later).

Just one question: Does he live in a hotel?

ok. i couldnt quite make out the voice at the beginning. but im assuming the guy is making a dinner for an out of work neighbor?

interesting concept. and nice looking!

(and im extra thankful this wasnt another damned hip hop video ; ))

Thanks guys. No, he doesn't live in a hotel, lol. Everything was shot in my apartment building, including the hallway.

All I really want you to be able to hear at the beginning is "unemployment." My goal was to make it vague as to who was the out of work person... I thought it might be interesting if the main character was possibly the unemployed one.

i like the subtlety. a LOT!
but it might be more effective though if the "newscast" voice were a little clearer...or maybe a shot from behind the tv to him that reinforced that he was watching the news...
i AM assuming from the slight blue flicker that hes supposed to be watching the news. right? i had to play it back loud a few times to make out what was happening...

and im not sure if the window shot really conveyed the right message.

anyway. again, i like the subtlety. but wonder if there isnt TOO MUCH for the viewer to put together?

enjoyable watch regardless. just nitpicking.
