The Dark Knight

Superhero movies are not my thing...I hated Superman and all the others. I liked Unbreakable but it wasn't great. That said, I really liked Batman Begins, so I'm sure I'll see this one, too.

Trailer looks hot...batman looks pretty wimpy, though...im sorta rooting for the joker more than him.

It doesn't look much more appealing than Batman 3 did. I'm sorry, Nolan gave it a great effort, but he is still missing the real Batman.

The new HD trailer looks FANTASTIC. I'm really looking forward to this one. Even though I'm not much of a nut about superhero films, Nolan/Bale's Batman is great. But of course, after seeing the new trailer (and the Heat-inspired prologue), it's safe to say that I'm looking forward to Ledger as Joker the most. He seems to be utterly terrific for the role. I love the style of this Joker. I'm sorry to all fans of Burton/Nicholson's Joker, but I have the strangest feeling that many people will prefer this Joker to the old one. I love Jack, but Ledger, from the trailer alone, seems to be bringing something completely fresh to this character; something that has not been seen in superhero film.

I'm excited.

Contrary to others here, I love the new Christopher Nolan styled Batman. It's real. It could really happen. It isn't just some comic book/superhero fantasy. There's nothing super about Bruce Wayne, he did it all himself, which is what I like.

I also think the Art direction on the look of the Joker is spot-on. It makes him look completely insane - if it were perfect and not F*ked up, he'd simply resemble a cross-dresser, of which I'm sure there would be plenty in Gotham.

A hit and run Monte sighting. I have to agree with you on the basics of the character presentations in this variation of the movie, though.

btw, where's that 1000 post video...

I'm excited to see The Dark Knight based on the strength of Batman Begins, but the HD trailer does nothing for me. I hope it's better than what the trailer leads on.

The problem with remakes and adaptations is that people will inevitably compare it. I love this Batman. How does it compare to the others, to the comic book, how does Ledger compare to Jack... who cares!?!

I'm looking forward to this one.
