The Dark Knight

There's supposed to be a trailer for it today sometime. Can't wait to see it and the movie. Batman Begins is tied as my favorite Batman movie. This one should be even better.

I may be gone while the trailer is put up somewhere, so if I don't post it, someone else post it for everyone! Thanks

I just still cannot get into Super Hero movies; the orginal Superman (and II) ruled; but everything else is Bleh.

X Men has been a breath of fresh air.

I have always like Twisted Tales and early Dark Horse over traditional heroes. Give me a punisher over a Hulk anyday

That looks like good stuff coming. I am a big fan of batman begins. Although I think it lacked in some of the special effects.

The trailer was kind of a letdown (I was expecting some visuals) but still, better than nothing.

It was pure genius casting Aaron Eckhart as Two Face.
"I'm a man of my wooord."

Can't wait.

I don't think a logo over a soundbite should be called a "tease" anymore. It should be called a "cop-out".

Hey, did you see the cop-out trailer they released today?

Ok, so does this take place during the timeframe of the original Batman movie since the Joker was made and dies in it! Or does this completly disregaurd Tim Burtons Batman altogether?

I still think BrokeBat Mountain would be a better title for this movie.

this is a reboot of the series. its its own thing, like Casino Royale is with Bond. it a new series of films, so it doesnt have to follow the timeline of the original movies

Looks like Justice League of America is going to start filming early next year. This would be Bale's 3rd Batman film under contract, after that, who knows? To be honest though, I wasn't totally impressed by the new Batman films, any more than the last 3. All I can say is, at least he doesn't have BatNipples...yet.

Didn't like Batman Begins. Altough better than Forever and Batman and Robin (not that difficult, since those two destroyed the franchise) It was nowhere close to the first 2 offerings. Batman (1989), and Batman Returns, while a bit far storywise from the Comics approach, had a very good atmosphere and merged very well with Tim Burton's "World", if you know what I mean. Batman had depth, and the Villains too.

Jack Nicholson and even Danny de Vitto where great, timeless Villains.

In Batman Begins, the World just lost the Gothic feel of Gotham- the realistic approach was nowhere near has good as the original 1989 Batman ( I know, I shouldn't say original, and should take into account the 60'ies one). I couldn't care less for Christian Bale's character, contrary to Michael Keaton's one.

Actually liked Val Kilmer's performance.

George Clooney was a joke.

Anyway, not much great expectations for this one. Batman Begins had nowhere near the impact Burton's interpretation had.

Anyway, lets wait and see... Christopher Nolan is "the goods" nowadays. However, Batman Begins and The Prestige have been mediocre, in my view. They lack soul. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm very skeptical about this one (it should be better than X3, but, then again that's not difficult...)

I felt the same way, except I think Clooney got screwed by the movie instead of the other way around. Not a huge Clooney fan, but I think he is a very capable actor, which is more than I can say for the Execs of the Batman films. Bale was ok in the Prestige, but like Batman, not overly believable. Superman Returns was much the same.
