About the films we'll be screening...

Quite a few people have PM'd me asking what films will be screening Saturday night. And while I'm not going to divulge any titles, I will tell you this evening will highlight some of the most memorable works from past DVXFests, as well as, a few forgotten treasures. It's also a great opportunity to see works produced on the Red One, HVX200, EX-1, HV20, D90, GH1 back to back to back.

We've got everything from hard-hitting action and suspense to beautifully rendered human drama. And one filmmaker in particular is debuting a special sneak preview of an expanded cut of his DVXfest short – finished just in time for our screening. You're amongst the very first to see it.

Then of course we countdown thru all eight finalists to the top three winners of QuestFest. Feel free to cheer and shout all night long while rubbing elbows with fellow DVXers. It's going to be a fun time.

Myself, and a few other members of the Sabi Pictures family will be there to answer questions and oversee the smooth coordination of the event.
 
Please could someone snap a bunch of BTS stuff to post so us webcast viewers can see all the fun we missed? I'm sure one of you guys/gals could get some classic shots at the event & after parties!

I'll definitely have my camera and grab some pics and maybe even some video. Probably wont post immediately as I'm just slow like that :) I'll get em up Sunday though.

Zak, really looking forward to this event... the parking thing made me laugh... you have no idea how many times I've done that :D

Yeah, I will have a D-90 with me too.
 
Waiting for my flight. I think I;ve found he best in flight diversion: watching all of the Quest Fest films and reviewing the ones I missed. Finally have time to myself, no clients calling, no baby to play with (gonna miss that one)... just me and your movies....

MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

So remember that exploit warning we've been getting all day? There went my viewing. Turned on the laptop, plugged in my headphones... warning from windows... couldn't find a file needed to boot.

Reinstalling windows at 33000ft has never been so much fun...

I'm now stuck in Houston for the night, since my flight got delayed and then had to run across the airport only to find out that I'd run for nothing. So time to try viewing again after I get my Quicktime reinstalled...
 
Looking forward to at least catching some of the festivities online..someone give me a wave or thumbs up or something from the cam....I said thumbs up. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! The movies are all deserving.
