BTW Evin... How exactly did you hook that monitor up to your Mac? Do you use cinema desktop? Cinema desktop looks like crap on my apple display any special settings?

yes just desktop cinema from FCP over a DVI cable. 1080 doesnt look as good but 720s fine.

yes.. almost every HD television, or dual tv/monitor (like the dells) can accept component HD from the HVX.

yes.. if you are shooting 720 stuff you get pixel for pixel.. so its the best focus tool there is. Not so accurate on color, but a perfect focus tool.

So the process is to take the component cable out to the LCD while video capturing to P2 cards live?
