Tax Service Commercial Shoot, some random clips

Here are a few random clips from a commercial shoot yesterday. It was cold, high 30s/low 40s and windy :(
The actors were getting brain freeze and a very simple shoot took all day.
Used the Canon 28-135mm kit lens, this is such an underrated and underappreciated lens. I was gonna use the Sigma 28mm 1.8 and Canon 50mm 1.8 or 1.4 but I didn't have a ND filter and it was just too damn bright, so I went with the kit zoom. The aperture ranged form about 7.1-5.6 and the zoom looked better at those apertures. Shot 1080-30p with "neutral" picture setting. I added a little contrast to this clip.
The sound for this clip is straight from the 7D int mic, for the commercial the sound was recorded on a HVX200 with a boom and lav.
BTW I have no idea whose house that was. I setup there because I liked the background on the shots of the postman and no one was home :)

Tax service commercial? As long as it doesn't have this guy in it, it's all good with me.

Hahahah, glad you got the joke, don't know how widespread those spots are but I'm afraid it's nationwide.

Nice. Is that all natural light..any bounce? No biggie but just curious...why 30p and not 24? Was is it an aesthetic choice?
That is a sweet lens anyway.

Thnx. Natural light, partly cloudy and in the shadow of a 3 story house so decent conditions. The producer wanted 30p cause it's for broadcast TV, I would have preferred 24p but it looks ok.
