The side grip can be rotated, but you have to unscrew where the base of the grip connects to the camera body to rotate it.

So when you remove the grip (not the *handle*), can you still change the settings of the camera? It seems like the joystick is only on the grip (not *handle)... Am i missing something?

You can set custom buttons to increase and decrease iris, but not to set shutter. Not sure if iris plus minus custom buttons will alter WB.

That would be the grip. The handle has the audio connectivity.

works a treat on most 3.5mm jack cameras i imagine, i've used it on a 5d2 and an epic with more than decent results.

Won't work on C300 as it doesn't provide mic power. Probably C100 is the same.

the c300 doesn't have phantom on the 3.5mm, but that's not what this mic requires, it only needs excitation power, which *most* devices have. yes it still needs to be verified, but it works just fine on a 5d2, which is a somewhat good indicator that it will work on these cameras as well. if not, then thats what return policies are for!

The articulation leaves some to be desired. I think you can do that if you're sitting to the right of camera, but not to the left.
