I am looking into getting more things for my canon t2i. Some of you probably have seen my posts about certain things. I am looking for a wide angle lens, the zoom h4n, G3 wireless lavs, rode shot gun mic, LCDVF View finder, and I am currently stumped on a DSLR monitor to put onto my Glidecam 4000 Pro with the T2i ( i know it only takes SD but I have an HVX200a also). Any suggestions on what I am scouting to buy? I recently just got the VL-1000 softbox lighting kit. (2000 watts) Keep in mind I want to use the monitor & audio equipment with my HVX200a but would like to get a nice setup for the Canon T2i and be able to use whatever I can on my HVX200a

why in the world would you want to do that? Just get a glidecam 2000 and call it a day.

Glidecam/steadycam was the one thing i wanted SOOOOO bad when i started out. In reality, i use my shoulder rig, tripod, slider all much more frequent. Its cool but very specialized and difficult to use. And i cant even imagine how much harder to operate and balance out with attatching all sorts of wacky gadgets. Why would you need a monitor anyway? When your doing a glidecam shot, all you need to worry about is keeping your subject in frame. The 3" screen should be more than fine for htis.

Okay well what about better audio for my T2i?

I totally agree.
I love glidecam shots, but setting it up & getting good results is tough.

I only shoot music videos so audio hasn't been an issue :D

I was, however, eyeing the H4N which seems to be the most often recommended piece of audio gear around here.

i use the zoom H4n and rode videomic for audio.

Good starting points. Hopefully canon will finally release an auto gain control disable like they did for hte 5dmkII for hte 7D and t2i

that is what I was looking into as well. so around $450.00 for both?

I have tokina on my Merlin. the exact weight makes the rig very stable.. no swaying. Very happy .

Tokina is more specialized, would make sure you have something more versatile first.

I find my Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 plenty wide, and a lot less expensive and easier to find than the tokina
