T2i/5/7d live capture to laptop

HI All

Don't kill me, Im sure this has been covered before, i just could not find a thread due to a poor internet connection. If this has been covered, please point me to a thread and spare your fingertips some skin.

Can any of the Canon DSLR's be hooked up to a computer/laptop with capture software (Adobe On-Location ETC) for longer recording times? I am doing long form video scenes for a cable channel, and would buy a 5D in a heartbeat, if I could get 30 to 60 min contiguous recording time out of it. I can bring a laptop with me if needed, and/or any hardware.

Best thing abot this is that it doesnt crop to 16:9 so you can record anamorphic and have nice aspect ratio with x2 lenses ,too bad it doesnt support stable framerates ,theyre quite random.
