Symbiosis - a Flyin' Monkey Films production

When we get the strip club shoot set up Dre, we'll fly you in just so you can work sound on that. Maybe let the nice girls hold your boom stick if they're good.

What's the next fest gonna be anyway? It will be Spring, so drama fest time! I can definitely work a strip club into that script... now where the hell is Keaton?

New toy assembled from skateboard wheels, part of a ZazaSlider, a Smith-Victor fluid head and a Giottos quick-release system mounted on top. Perfect for sneaking guerilla dolly shots in the subway.

I only wish I had built this before the shoot, but I still have a few shots left to go to expand on the film a little after DVXFest so it will see some use. Great when you don't have access to a slider... or a location....

EDIT: And yes Zaza, I still have the slider, it's just in NYC and I'm in Toronto. Needs to be 6" shorter to be more travel friendly.

Yes... That's why I offer the center bars! There are SO many uses....

I love my ZazaSlider. I actually had o use my friend Jake's DIY slider on this shoot and damn that was noisy. I think that was what made me want to pack my ZazaSlider when I returned to NYC, but then realized I couldn't fit it. Do I took apart the skateboard we'd bought for a stunt on "Flower" and boom, that was that. instant slider. Pair it with an external monitor and you have a fast rig for nice unobstrusive shots in almost any (smooth) location.

Don't think it's as bad as Green/Yellow. Stoplights!

Shades of grey! shades of grey! ARGH!.

Glad to hear the ADR worked out. Had me a little worried there but it's in the hands of a master. Hear that guys? I handed off my ADR to a pro so as to not screw it up this time! Okay Noel? So I can take my oath back...

During recording ADR,
put 3 beeps (1kH tone) of each 1 frame 3 seconds before the first line. So: beep ----- beep ----- beeep -------"Let's get a chicken"
-3 -2 -1 0 (seconds)

That helps to make it more sync...and easier to resync it
