Is there a better place than ebay to find them? In the city I am in the prices are higher.

Also, is that just for the camera or other gear with it? Thanks.
 
I've seen two in that range, one on eBay a couple weeks back and another private sale through DC Craigslist. Both were body and batteries.
 
I'm going on vacation soon in US, what about if i find a good deal on USED aF-100, will it work in PAL land with 25-50 i/p?
Or in US you have just NTSC?

I advertised my mint one on here - didn't get a single bit of interest so not sure who these people are here stating they are looking for one??.....

Thankfully I managed to get $1330 for it on ebay.
 
Who knows. If you are selling, maybe waiting even longer will actually push the price up. That can also happen sometimes. Ebay is weird like that. I was looking for a very old mic (senn mkh70) and they were routinely going for $400 a couple of years ago, and today I looked and can't find one below $1K - it's all $1500, $1800 and other madness. So yeah, there is no logic on ebay. Put up your cam for $3500 and watch if sell lickety split, who knows.

I've had exactly the same experience several times... I realize it's a waste of forum space to advertise a camera or lens for sale here, but nobody seems to check the Marketplace Forum. Perhaps if the Marketplace were divided into sections like the Discussion re; camera type (Panasonic, Canon, etc) it would be more successful. When I've tried to find something there I'm overwhelmed by the scattered content.
