Thank you for sharing. They definately made good cameras, in fact from what I've read, oh yeah the still make super 8 cameras don't they?
For those of you who asked about projectors for transfer, I suggest you get a Workprinter. It costs a little over a $1000 but you get superb results. It's the next best thing to a Rank Cintel. If you want more information go to Roger's website: www.moviestuff.tv. He makes the Workprinters. As far as getting filmstock, it's usually not that expensive. Don't buy stock from Pro8mm unless you are willing to pay top dollar and have them process it because they're the only ones that can process their particular filmstock.
I bought a workprinter a couple of years ago and it was the best investment i've ever made when it comes to projectors. The picture quality is amazing and you always get nice rich color when transfering your super 8 movies. No hot spots whatsoever!
I just had to bump this thread back up because this guy's **** is so damn cool.
Wish he posted more of his stuff here. Anyone know about the original poster?
Very nice. The video was alot of fun the watch and love the use of a ring light. belive it or not I do have a Kino Flow Kamio and use it for almost everything I shoot just love the look
