FEATURE: Stricken the Feature - A Matt Sconce Film

Stricken Project Cliff Notes

Stricken Project Cliff Notes

100 pages? As RWJ would say.........GEE-ZUS!

cliff notes?
You're the person who reads the ending of a book first, aren't you. :cheesy:

is the movie completed?
Yep, Movie is done and has been for a while.

did op get outside funding?
Nope, we made this with the money in our pockets, passion, and sleepless nights. We had a key crew of three of us, including me, and we worked REALLY hard.:violin:

Has the movie gotten sold?
Yes indeed. Warner Bros/Gravitas bought the Digital rights and it is currently released on 15 million televisions. If it does well after 90 days (end of May) it releases on 35 million televisions. After that, it moves to Hulu Plus, Netflix, etc. DVD rights are still being shopped and some deals are close to being made. See details of which providers it is available on and which it will be available on by clicking the release text here: www.strickenthemovie.com

Did OJ really do it?

Don't know...But definitely not in Stricken.

We need some answers here people!!!!!!!!

There you go! Clifff notes complete!

Read the big threads. They're littered with gold. Been following this one for a while.

Matt, I really hope comcast picks this up, because I would LOVE to see it!

Read the big threads. They're littered with gold.

Right, and you can very easily skim through them pretty quickly since they're also "littered" with hundreds of page-filling posts from folks expressing their support and other pleasant but information-free content. It's well worth the effort...

Thanks! New info coming in from the Producer's Reps. It seems a DVD and all other available rights deal may be in the works for Stricken. I will let you know more when I know more. Keep watching Stricken on demand! The Reps are feeling confident it will make the next phase if we keep telling people and spreading the promo and the word about where to see it at www.strickenthemovie.com

The 30 sec. promo looks awesome!

Thanks!
Hey everyone, could you help me figure out if the providers of Stricken really have it available? I just was told it is still not live on Rogers. I need to know if it is available or not on the others. I know the dvxuser community is widespread and helpful. Please go to Stricken's website and click on the release details to see a list of where it is supposed to be available then, if you have one of those providers, check to see if it is available. You can also find the list earlier in this thread. Search new releases, all movies, and the horror and thriller sections with the name Stricken. Thanks so much!

Matt, why do you need to find out where it is?

Waiting for it patiently on Netflix :)

To make sure giant audiences actually can see it, so it can perform well for Gravitas and move to the 35 million tv next step. Since Gravitas is basing whether or not it moves forward based on the number of views, if it is not available on a big provider that they have told us it is on (which seems to be true with Rogers), it can hurt us and the future of Stricken.

Thanks Marlon. Matt did a good job. I haven't been posting for a while as Matt and I have been finishing a new Sci-Fi script NODES. Now that that is done and off to readers, we have started on another comedy, PEST CONTROL. Busy, busy. :engel017:

STRICKEN is evidently doing well, so I am happy. :)

Yeah, Gary, there were some really nice shots in that promo and really good special fx. On another note, I've looked at AT&T U-Verse and COX and I can't find "Stricken" anywhere.

Go to "all movies section on AT&T Uverse" and search Stricken. Contact Matt Harris if you cannot find it as he has found it there.

Now that i think about, i should have mentioned before:

Stricken is not in the main "new releases" for on demand in AT&T, those are all huge hollywood movies.
I believe Stricken is in an area called "All Movies" - look for that Marlon.
