Augh! I am still a zombie... :zombie_smiley: But, a happy zombie.
It was so fun last night to see the huge audience love STRICKEN. What was really funny was the number of people in Oakhurst who came to the MET to see the movie who never go to scary films. They came because they knew Matt or Troy or myself, or had a friend or relative in the film from the area.
They SCREAMED and were hiding their faces. Some shouted comments spontaneously as they were so into the film. Later, I asked one lady about a certain part of the film and how she liked it and she shyly told me she didn't see it because she, "...Was holding my hands over my eyes..." during that part in sheer terror. So funny!
The 14-18 year olds were so excited and came running up after the movie spouting continuously about how much they loved it. That was very encouraging to Matt, Troy and I. That is a great demographic age group for filling theaters.
We had two feature directors come to see the film and both of them couldn't believe how in the world we did it.
Matt and Steve Tibbo are coordinating a final tweak of the sound mix that will be the last change in the film on our end. Steve Tibbo is so absolutely amazing.
Now, we get ready for Action on Film festival in Pasadena.
I am really into preproduction for THE PARK now in a huge way. I talked with another really solid actor about a lead role last night. We will start a thread on that soon. :engel017: Back to sleep...
