Very nice. I am shooting a bar scene for a low budget feature in October. What did was you key light in the one above? In that case, what lights are you using for the others.

I really like it.

I use the coollights CL655p kino as the main key light on Lance. I also have a set of arri fresnel light with me all the time. I try to use ambient light as much as possible and "bumping" the intensity of w/e lights that already existed on the location.

Dude.... where have you been all my life!!!!

Ok, just kidding, but yeah, right on. That is the aesthetic and approach I am developing, and have pitched to get my next gig. I have a guerilla kit, that should let me do the same. My hat's off to you. Keep us posted. I dig your style.

OK Im seeing a lot of shots I really like in that trailer. I think I get the general tone.

But, although I know its an early teaser, it doesnt really give us anything on story - Im sure it does for you but when you know nothing of the story, like me, its a bit of a blank.

If it were me, and its not. Id pull that trailer - get that trailer graded, add some voiceover to give us some story and a couple of bits of key dialogue and go again.

Maybe its just me, but I really think these early trailers sometimes do the film injustice.

Again though theres some really good shots going on in there, nice comps / lighting and emotion from the actors faces.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I am the director and it was an honor to work with John Wee on this project. He has an amazing eye and made me look real good. Ha.

I understand about the teaser, with VO and dialogue, but then again that is why i called it a teaser. It did its job and made people wanna see more, and in the next real trailer, will do just that.

Thanks for all the kind words and feedback, much appreciated.

Some really beautiful shots. Actually some of the best 7D footage I ever seen.

Three things:

1. Use a diffuser on those coollights to prevent those zebra pattern of the tubes when you see the reflection of it in the eye (0:32)

2. That lighting is a hair to cheesy

3, Try to match the clothing more to the background (production design) - most indies don´t care, but it´s not that big of an afford and it makes quite a difference.

Otherwise great job, really.
Especially love the first shots where you establish the setting.

Looking forward to it.

Good luck, Frank

Thanks for the kind word frank :) 0:32 lights came from those big mirror tht is surrounded or bordered by tungsten bulb like a marquee. We didn't use any light at all in tht shot. Can't wait to share the trailer with you guys in the very near future.

None of this is possible without the talent n dedication of all the director, the casts and crew !
