Most likely wasn't good enough in their tests by the time the list came around.

Maybe the hardware, the lack of great oversampling, no 10-bit, too much noise, etc.

The C500 - from the same time - is on their list but you need to shoot 4K RAW with it if you're going to use it.

Why was the 1D C never approved for Netflix? Isn't 4K24 with a sensor size of at least Super 35 enough to be considered?

Must have T/C I/O. Same reason why the C200 was never on the list, no T/C I/O

That's definitely true, but they eventually changed their tune on it and said it may be accepted on a "case-by-case basis" when shooting RAW.
