Me too! I am actually shooting my first at the end of summer. I can't wait. I've ALWAYS wanted to shoot one.

Interesting, a spreader with wheels. I wonder what kind of dolly move you can accomplish with that. (of course we know the speed might be a little uneven ;-))

Cool set up Ted, I looking forward ot checking it out in person manana.

haha! Yeah, I was thinking the same thing! The wheels do lock down nice and tight so I do plan on using it as a spreader. Also, it will make for moving the tripod around easy.

As for a dolly shot, I've heard that people do get good results with it in that use... but I suspect that you need very smooth, even floors.

Hahaha!! It is true though. Once you have that and a fast lens f/1.4, rails, and a follow focus.....you will prety much rock the world.:beer:

Okay, so i just returned from the Police Station to inform them that I will be filming tomorrow.... The guy at the counter was like... "so?' And I replied, "well I got pulled over last week while filming up and down a street last week."

He said, "Oh! Are you the guy that had a camera taped to the side of his vehicle?"

TAPED!?!?!?

I laughed and said, "Well, it wasn't taped... I can tell you that!"

He laughed back and had me speak to dispatch.

Dispatch couldn't seem to care less!!! She even said, "Why are you telling me this?"

I told her that I thought that I was just being preemptive.

She thanked me and I was on my way!

Just had to share.

btw, I JUST HOOKED UP MY ME66 and tried it out. OMG!!!! What an amazing difference!!! I was floored!

I made my wife try it out and she was amazed! She loved all of the new gear! (whew!)

Just getting finished up with this trial I've been swamped with and am looking forward to showing my face around here again. Looking forward to it.
