Speed Booster question

So I was looking at the M 4/3 speed booster http://www.adorama.com/MBSPFDM43B.html

in combination with these lenses http://www.adorama.com/RKCV24MCK.html

But the speed booster is only made for FD mount, however I see an abundance of EF mount lenses and then FD… not so much. What's the deal do I need an adapter as well? Why not make an EF mount speed booster? Sorry if this has been discussed, but I haven't found answers.

Also any thoughts on the speed booster, heard there might be some C A issues. And how are the Rokinon Lenses?

An ef-mount speed booster would need electronic lens control to be fully functional with all EF-lenses.

I'd only go with the fd speed booster if you have a lot of fd lenses.
i don't know your camera, but there's no electronic speed booster for m4/3 cam's to ef afaik.

if you'd go with the fd booster, you'd need another adapter (link) to use ef lenses on it, but the lenses you'd be able to use can only be manual.

I'd recommend to not use such adapters, as they just put another piece of glass between the lens and the sensor.

thumbsup for the rokinon lenses!

Do you already have a bunch of Canon glass? If not, definitely buy a Nikon to MFT Speedbooster and the Rokinon lenses in Nikon mount.

Yeah getting the Nikon mount was another thought bouncing around my brain too. Now the question is…. would that be a wise investment considering the GH4 coming out. I have GH2 and GH3, but don't have great glass for them. Also is the speed booster worth the money? Are there many who have used that product with a GH3 cam?
