Well theres dudes on this site with crazy rigs and equipment making big productions for Spyfest so i didnt put it past you.

Running Out Of Time

Is anyone else filling the looming deadline aproaching? I feel like we are in pretty good shape, thanks entirely to Mike Halper. He's edited an amazing version of the film , He just finished color correcting and we are waiting for all of the remaining peices to come in. Sound, Music & effects shots. It looks like it's going to be down to the wire. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
 
Got the sound clips in today. Looks like we are missing some cues. Hopefully we will get them all in time.

Again, you ROCK!!! I just saw the new version with your effects cut in. They look great! I couldn't be happier. Thanks for all of your hard work. I hope to some dau meet you in person.

Now the push to finish the sound and music. I'll keep you posted.
 
We were up til 4:00 am last night working on the sound. We still don't have all of the music. Hopefully it will come today since we have to mix it tonight to turn it in tomorrow. I'm starting to freak out a little.
 
We were up to 4:00 am again working on the mix. I hope we finish tonight in time to enter the festival. It is going to be cutting it close.
 
Our composer flaked on us TODAY! He isn't going to be able to finish the job. But he did give us 6 hours of notice before our deadline. That should be more then enough time to find a new composer and have them score our entire movie.

Thankfully, we decided not to rely on him anymore and contacted a composer, Hoong Bee Lim, on Tuesday night. She has done a wonderful job of scoring it in just 48 hours. I'm blown away with her abilities.

She saved our film. We are now scrambelling to do the final mix and get it uploaded in time.

I'l let you know how it goes.
 
i just dont get people who flake hard. they dont know how much the project means to us directors. i had a ton of people flake over the entire course of spyfest. live and learn.

Thankfully, He was the only flake on this film. Sorry to hear about all the flakes on your film.

I'm seeing it now with the new music and the film is coming to life. I couldn't be happier. Now hopefully we can figure out the compression and get it uploaded.

Well, we're finally finished. This would have turned into a nightmare if it weren't for our new composer, HB Lim. She really saved the project and composed a fantastic score for the film.

I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. Can't wait to see all the other SpyFest entries. Well, now that I've been up til 5am for the past few nights it's time for some sleep, but not much...
