God I'm out of shape!

I hurt all over. Finished shooting last night at 5AM. I forgot how much time you spend on your feet when you make a film. We only shot for two days and I feel like I've run a marathon.

Anyway, the shoot went well. We got it all in the can. I can't wait to see the footage.

Congrats!!! Isn't it a great feeling! Good luck and I can't wait to see some screen grabs. We just got our first two days done as well!

Re-shoot this Sunday night

Re-shoot this Sunday night

We've decided to do a re-shoot. Our filming went very late last weekend. I was hoping to finish by 2:00am and it ended up going till 5:00am. Those last 3 hours, I was pretty fried, and I didn't get the performance, or the shots that I wanted.

I'm excited about getting the opportunity to shoot that scene over. The rest of the footage looked great. I think we're going to have a great film. I'll post some screen grabs next week.
 
Congrats on all the shooting you have gotten done! Better to go back and get the results you envisioned rather than settle for something. That must be a great feeling to be this far in the process.

Thanks for the encouragement. It's great to know that after Sunday, I will have it all in the can, and we can then focus on editing it down to a tight 6 minutes.
 
We need help with Special Effect!

We need help with Special Effect!

We finish filming Sunday. The film looks amazing. It's coming together nicely, but we need help with a shoot out scene with hand guns. We need muzzle flashes and sparks flying off where the bullets hit on the walls.

If anyone is interested at taking a crack at this, PM me.

What Is The Password????

What Is The Password????

I can't figure out what the password is to get by the first phase of the CALLING ALL SPIES contest. Anyone want to throw me a bone. I think everyone else is on the third or fourth level and right now, I'm completely lost.
 
Actually, here's what we really need for visual effects

1. multiple muzzle flashes from handguns
2. bullet body hits x 2
3. bullet concrete wall hits (multiple)
4. bullet metal door hits (multiple)

We're also working on some greenscreen effects on a few computer screens and a blackberry that involves tracking. We hopefully have someone working on that for us, but may need to look at alternate sources for those.

The Re-Shoot is done!

We finished early this morning. I'm so glad we did the re-shoot. I was able to change some blocking and get a much bette peformance from my actors and better shots with the camera.

We'll get some screen grabs up soon.

Thanks. It was a great location. I got lucky. A friend of mine runs and lives above the storage facility. It worked out very well. I'll try to get some screen grabs up next week.
