Sony new DSLRs with video 30p only

whoa - you guys need to learn a little patience - sony will definitely release better cameras in the axx line - by the time they release the a99, maybe all of you 5dmkll converts might be questioning your lens purchases !
rumor is the a77 will be shown at photokina at least in prototype form
and if asked , the AF looks the best so far - the a33 is out now and we´ll be seeing some real handson soon - at least sony is rocking the boat - the 60d, except for audio, looks like a 550dmkll- what happened to it´s rumored constant AF ?? oh yea, Canon showed us an 8 inch sensor and some jetson prototypes !
ps- did you see the motorcycle video in the last post ?

I saw it and it looks better than the other dslr focus that I've seen so far. More testing needed, but I won't be surprised if it is THE BEST auto focus of all DSLRs. Too bad none of us will get to use it.

That's alot to give up for auto-focus. Not saying that NO-ONE will do it, but....that's alot to give up for auto-focus. I will be the first in line if they do the other stuff as well or better for the same price. Until then....well....we see what happens.

I think these cameras just got a whole lot more interesting. Sony is gonna announce a firmware update at Photokina that will enable manual controls over video.

....and Zeiss cp.2 primes will be released In Alpha mount. I guess zeiss execs know something we´re just guessing at ! With firmware upgrades for manual video modes and another for autofocusing with the alpha adapters for the Nex , Zeiss knows Sony is about to go bigtime with probably an A99 flagship FF stills/cinema machine set to go face to face with the 5d , imho.
I sure hope so! This would be another step closer! I'd still need 24P to consider it....but maybe some others would bite without it. Let's cross our fingers anyway.
What could be better than this? Sony shows up (for real this time), full-frame 5d KILLER!!! ROOAAARRRR!!!! The world is now a better place for us all.
