So Did the AVS Thread git Trashed

Last week I was told they they were going to arrive on Monday. On Tuesday I was told they were going to arrive by Friday. Mine is in this batch.
 
They aren't due in here in the states until the 28th. Panasonic does QC on them for a couple of days and then they head out to Barb. You're looking at first week of April to get to AVS at this point...
 
You poor people. I feel for you. So close, and yet so far.

Of course, it's easier to be calm and reassuring, because I have my HVX.

Has anyone looked elsewhere other than EVS and Barb for supply?

There have been a bunch of posts lately on available cams and cards from Panny authorized dealers in Austin, Tennessee and elsewhere by Barry and others at pretty close to EVS and Barb's pricing.

Just wondering.
 
yeah the only pro is getting another dealer to throw in the p2 card for that price. Not to many want to do that. They see that p2 is where their going to make there money not the cam.
 
Just spoke with Barb, she said cameras are to arrive in US this Tuesday, should be available for some on the list later in the week?? With a little luck.....

Do they have to be QCed first, or are they ready to go out as soon as they arrive?

I wonder if all cameras in the shipment contain P2 cards?
 
Well they will be QCed in Washington and then Barb will get them so if they get here today they will be another day or two before they are shipped out. At least that is what I understood

Full Compass (authorized) had the cam for $5,276. Unfortunately the deposit was $1,200 and change.
 
It should be noted that when I called Full Compas today, they said they wouldn't have any in stock till the 14th of April at the Earliest.....

Actually that's pretty good (especially now that Lerro is now out of cams this round). Before it was 4-6 weeks. So far FC has the lowest non-gray price I've seen.
