We shot this promotional video for the Japanese company Kissmark during two month session, last march and april. So this is like around the world competition tour video with some cool free riding to cheer it up a bit :) It has been shot almost entirely with two stock hvx's, only few SgPro shots there. We were in Japan, USA and Finland this time. Just got back home (Finland) from New Zealand and Australia where I was filming the 09' Kissmark promo.

You can watch it from Vimeo: http://www.vimeo.com/1747436

Excellent work.

.02 would be to crush those blacks a bit more and perhaps a more creative grading of color.

No a lot of those shots were definitely more than just 60-->24fps.. That's 40% slo-mo and I would say some of these shots were 20%.

they cant be more that 60fps cause the hvx can only do 60fps plus a weird assortment of frame rates it lets you shoot in, unless you do the interval frame rate like if you were to do a time lapse, but that would have accomplished the opposite.

I wasn't saying that he may have used more than 60 fps. He must have used some other type of slow motion tool like twixtor, motion or avid's slomo tool in conjunction with the 60-->24 slow down.

Thanks for the all encouraging comments! All the slomos were shot in 720/24pn @ 60fps, the "fake" 120fps was achieved with a software called motion perfect.

bummer, pc only... that looked like a great alternative to twixtor for a minute.
