Here are some shots I put together with my XLH1. Stock lens, no filters, HDV to tape:

This is a monster sized file (about 335mb I think) and there is a small glitch at the beginning. It may or may not work on your player (worked for me). I'll try to post a smaller, more compressed file soon. If it balks at the glitch at the beginning, try skipping a couple of frames. The rest looks fine.

This is tremendous. What shutter speed did you use? Did you overcrank to get the snow in slow motion? If so, how did you keep your kids from moving in slow motion too? Just wondering...

Thanks Terry.

Everything in this piece is real time, no slow mo or manipulation of time in any way.

The shutter speed was set to both 1/250th and 1/500th depending on the shot. The kids shot was the latter and the snow was just falling slowly naturally.

You know, I'm waiting for a full length narrative feature. Amazing. What frame rate were you shooting at. It looks like 60i. The music was great too. Is it made with a program or does Mr. Williams use instruments? Or a combo of both? I have been looking into creating music, but my talent only goes so far.

Regardless, you are truly a master at your craft.

That's awesome. Your stuff looks extremely clean and crisp. I wish I could shoot that crisp. For some reason, I can't seem to get that good of quality. I wish I could. Honestly, I wish I could intern for you for a while to learn the ways. My stuff always has a hint of fog to it and I can't seem to get the crisp, clear images. But, again, experience, I suppose. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

He Dis, hello, Im from the old Canon cinema forum, before it went southward. Can you post you settings? I lost my memory car presets, I am on mac so cant use that dl program, thanks.

Also to get that aspect are you changing the view finder bars to 2.35 so you know what to frame?
