tannerherriott said:I shot everything at 60i with the shutter speed set at 1000. After I cut my edit in Final Cut, I ran it through the JES Deinterlacer program to get the frame rate to 59.94 then conformed it to 29.97 using Cinema Tools. I used the Magic Bullet filters that came with my DVX to adjust the contrast and to add a slight vignette and used the levels filter in FCP to adjust the colors. I also used a soft focus filter to help with some of the noise and rough edges.

If I am not mistaken, and don't take my word on this because i'm new to this stuff, but 60i just means interlaced frames at 29.97, which is why the movie info said it was still at that speed.
I hope someone else can ellaborate on this so i can learn more.
FFrei59571 said:yeah im looking forward to hearing back what the exact steps on JES were so i can try this.
