Slooo ... o .. . . ow! - $5 says red.com goes down in the next 3 hours.

[mikkowilson]

Boy did red.com just *really* slow down or what? I'd hate to think about the speed that the downloads are running at.

I got a bunch of 'server not found' errors allready a few mins ago too...

The USA is waking up and getting thier first grabs at the 1K footage while Europeans are coming home from work to do the same. This is one of the biggest times for spikes on the 'net for big news. It was about this time that DVXuser went down last year when the HVX footage came out.

Don't forget that the footage is mirrored on many sites across the 'net and there is a BitTorrent running too. Check the '1st footage' thread for mirror details.

Yeah I pulled it in last evening and it took almost 2 hours! I would think that by now, its even worse.

The footage is really good, but not a subject that is all that interesting. I would have loved to see a face wearing those shades!

You should've seen last night it was crazy.

You had to be there to beleive it.

Well, I can't connect to Red.com - so I think I'll turn that bet down if you don't mind.

Use the mirrors or better yet, use the Torrent link I posted.

Those who have the original juliet2.zip file, consider downloading the torrent file as well and helping with early seeding. Thanks!

If the server made it through last night... it can stand anything.
