SINK OR SWIM complete

i liked it.
what did you use for a mic because each clip has a different volume it sounds like. some are echo sounding too. did you mic them near their mouths for each shot?

thank you. actually didnt spend too much time on the audio. only work i did with it was fix the levels in post. therefor all mic was stock

awesome. just awesome.
what where your lights in the night time shots? they look like regular flood lights but bigger?
what was the music?
thanks

Real nice! For some reason youtube was giving me issues but looked well-edited. Thanks for sharing.

What did you use for the speed-ramping in the 2nd vid on youtube? I'm thinking about getting retimer, but I'm not sure if it does ramps like that or not, and thats exactly the effect I'm looking for. Reminds me of the older transworld vids haha

thanks i appreciate the time taken to view and write.

Scene files i cant remember because i had to sell my dvx to pay debt.

All lighting was floodlights from wallmart placed in the right spot and music was M83- america

All time remmapping through the whole flick was through after effects no plugins.

hope all that helped thanks

So did you just use keyframes to change the speed in intervals? or is there a way that I'm missing to properly "ramp" the speed up/down smoothly where you kind of got the sound of a record player being slowed down (thats the best way I could think of to describe the sound)

all time remapping was done through keyframming in and out points in after effects. thats the only method i know of these days

i have a quicktime of the promo. i only have 75% of the video up so i might put the full on google or quicktime here soon

I know nothing about Skateboarding but when skate videos are done right, there's something I really love about them. And this one is done very right! It's good to see someone who actually knows when and when not to use a fisheye.

Congrats for getting them looking so good on YouTube... that's a mission in itself. Props also for the music. Never thought I'd hear The Smiths in a skate vid!
