Sigma and re-calibration...

I was reading this post (http://www.canonrumors.com/2009/08/sigma-85-f1-4-hsm-cr1/), as well as some reviews on FM forums on the Sigma 30mm and 50mm lens, where several people are complaining that they it had taken 2-3 weeks to get their Sigma lens re-calibrated (and they had to send in the body as well) after they purchased the lens.

I'm really considering purchasing some Sigma lenses, but I would like to avoid a 2-3 week loss of my camera. Has anyone had any issues with Sigma lenses you've purchased?

Maybe buy from B&H or somewhere with a 2 week guarantee. Then you can test it and if it's not right, just send it back and exchange it for another one. This seems a LOT easier than sending it in for calibration. Lately, I've really realized just how valuable the 2 week test period is, as I've returned several lenses after testing them.
