sigma 20mm f1.8 ??

anyone? I read that its really soft and has vignetting. If anyone ever used it please post. Or if anyone could find any helpful reviews that'd be great as well.
 
I used it a few times for filming with my 7D. My friend owns it for his 5D mkii and the 20mm 1.8 lens. I really like the Sigma Prime lenses because they have decent drag on the focus when pulling. The Vignetting isnt bad on the 7D because this lens is made for Full Frame. Check out this lens comparison website if you plan on using this for photos. I compared the 20mm at 1.8 to the more common 30mm at 1.4.

This shows that it is really sharp in the center, but not too sharp around the corners. If you bump the aperture down a bit to 2.8 you get a fairly sharp image very acceptable for photos. I don't shoot photos on my 7D so that really will not matter too much. But overall I really like the feel of this lens on the 7D, If you don't include the Zeiss primes you can buy for the 7D, Sigma primes are by far my favorite.
