I shot this PSA for a contest for a friend of mine. We only have 4 hours to shoot, edit and upload it so it was one of the quickest jobs I've done.

Shot it in 1080p24
with a Canon EF 20mm f2.8 lens
and a Sigma 50mm f1.4 lens

edited and colour corrected in FCP, please vote on it and comment! Thanks

visually it looks good. the audio however isnt.

think you should have pushed in on the dog alone on the stool(if u could get him to stay on it :) ) at the part that said "our homes are also destroyed." It would have been visually stronger.

cute dog

yeah my zoom h4n failed so I had to use an older wireless lav, it was much worse originally, I tried to remove as much hiss and crack/pops as I could. Thanks!

Yeah that girls seems incredibly pissed off- maybe a bit more upbeat in the direction on the next one. Looks good though.

where was the dolly? I was waiting for some movement, but i must have missed it.

I would have liked more of a dolly in at the last dramatic statement for emphasis.

I feel bad for some reason. I feel like I took her on a date and stole her microphone and didn't call her the next day. She looks piiiissed...

she must be a cat owner. or a feminist.

From a directorial standpoint, I would have had the dog's head in frame for the closeups on the girl. Maybe throw a cushion or something on her lap to get them both in frame.

I think that would have helped with the power/connection of the message. Looked good otherwise!
