its funny how whenever videos like this come along, no one is curious about the actual tech. its just a well put together piece.

i was impressed.

unbelievable! I loved your last one and this one is even more impactful.
since its a rough cut, personally I wasnt so keen on titling, it jolted the flow of the short doc.

aside from that, it was absolutely brilliant :)

Well done! I could watch about half of it because it tore me to pieces seeing how the parents were struggling. My wife and I went through a lot with our two daughters. I guess I can say cheers and tears!

Really excellent content .... the story makes you forget the cam, lenses etc

Really affecting material here. It brought me to tears very quickly! I really loved the film's structure of repetition through the title cards, giving the audience more and more information about the reality of organ transplant operations. I don't think "jolted" the short or was jarring. Sure, having a title card pop up consistently is, in itself, a jarring method, but like the slow beating of a heart, it feels appropriate. In this analogy, the heart begins to race toward the end, reflected in the quicker cuts to title cards. Although, this may be the only area where the cards felt truly a nuisance. I might try chopping those bits out, since the info they reveal is revealed in the film anyway.

The way you developed the growing tension smoothly--the family appearing confident then, through voice over, letting go of their emotions--was quite powerful.

The cinematography was very solid. Nothing hyperbolic was needed. You kept it grounded and natural, which I thought benefited the material.

Great film! Would love to see all of these shorts put together.
