I normally shoot with the Neutral picture style, but for stock footage I'm thinking maybe I should shoot in the Standard picture style?

Anyone have any experience?

When i tested my 550D first with out of the box settings the colour was awful imo
on advice i use neutral and find it gives good colour.

Yeah i do shoot that setting myself, just wasn't sure for stock footage but i shot in neutral & send them a sample, they liked it, so it's all good. :)

I wouldn't rule out a picture styles. People are missing out if they don't take the time to use them. They are basically your film stock.

The big question is, "You got a stock footage house that is buying HDDSLR footage?" Are they accepting any submissions?

Yes I have a stock footage house that I've enter into an exclusive deal with after showing them my 550D footage.

However I have to shoot stuff of interest, which isn't something I can do overnight. lol

They liked the footage I sent them using the Neutral -4 -4 -2 setting, which was of Clown fish at my local underwater world. :)
