Shooting 2.35:1 on T2i

I'm going to be shooting a project on the T2i that I'll be cropping to 2.35:1 in post.

I'm just wondering what the best method would be to mark the 2.35 crop lines on the actual lcd (not using an external monitor).

Is there something that will let me draw on the LCD that I can just wipe off after the shoot without doing any harm? Or some other way to mark this so I can take the 2.35 AR into proper consideration when framing during the shoot?

Get a cheap LCD screen protector (the film kind) and use a permanent marker w/ruler to draw the lines. I find that double the 16:9 crop mark is pretty close to 2.40

We're going to do this also, but i'm just going to put some of that paper-tape (don't know the english word of it) on my display. To 'calibrate' you can just take a photo of a 2.35:1 shot and put tape over what's black.

Just did a music video at 2.35 - I used one of those static-cling-ish sheets they sell as LCD protectors. You cut them to size, it shouldn't be an issue with your frame. Marked it with a sharpie.

The video had a lot of overhead shots (Slider bolted to the ceiling). For those, I used an external monitor - the Canon grid lines are close to 2.35, I just eyeballed it; in fact, by the end of the project, I had a god feel for what was in the frame. And you'll love editing - lots of options to reframe up and down.
