BAM!!...I think I am addicted to this thing.
(Actually Day 2.5)

Short video of my mother making earrings or something similar. It was not very bright, but I really dig the CU of her hands and stuff close to her. Very sharp on my laptop screen.

I hate you, I was set on picking up the LEX until this video. Now I don't know.

Side note: Do you ride BMX? Have a flickr page??

Check mine out: www.flickr.com/zergtherobot
I just got some sb-600 speedlights and have been testing them out.

Back to the topic, footage looks great.

Ha. I like all the Letus footage I have seen. But I like the SGpro footage as well (and have seen a lot more). I ride...sometimes. I used to ride a lot when I was younger but I do it less now because I fractured my ankle (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBEHnanfNT4) at a skatepark six months ago and put on 30lbs and just stopped for a while. My bike is falling apart and I want to fix it, but I would rather spend money on camera stuff. It suckkkkks.

damn you! i want to shoot stuff... but my dvx broke... the lcd ribbon failed. everything is purple :(
what are your scene settings?

Ahh yeah, ever so sweey looking footage man, it don't get much better than that from a DVX. Great work dude!

That sucks Jennings, does the viewfinder work at least? I am using the stock 24pa setting, still havent experimented yet.

It is actually 4x3, but I added the bars because I am so used to shooting squeeze that it doesn't look right without the bars.

My next upload will probably be Day 4/5, I am going back to my apartment in Philadelphia after my shoulder support comes today. So I will be a little slow but I am very excited to use it in the city.

looks good man! The SG is probably my forst choice of adapter. what lens are you using?

i noticed on one of your other posts you say its heavy. is it really heavy?

did you have to pay UPS a fee when they delivered? iVe read some other posts that say you need to have loot on hand for the delivery sinces its coming from the UK

Ahh i saw on your day 2 post you are using the 50mm 1.8.

i have that for my D50. is it hard focusing on that thing over say an older truly manual focus lens?

I actually have only used the Nikkor one I have. I am getting used to it but I am sure more expensive lenses will be better to use, I just started small.

The whole rig seemed heavy at first but I am getting used to holding it better hand held. It isn't that bad. I rest the back end of the rails on my belt, hold the handle with my right hand and then support the front and focus with my left hand

Oh and yeah it cost a extra 40 bucks at my door. I wouldn't have been prepared but John Neely told me he got charged money when it got to him so I had a blank check ready to go
