seeing dead people

Looking for a woman
my wife had sort of a creepy experience last night while working at the hospital. when she was making her initial rounds, one of her patients asked her who died. no one had died on her floor that day, so my wife told her that she wasn't aware of anyone passing recently. the woman looked baffled and said that she could have sworn someone had died.

well sure enough, someone died a few hours later. she was only a couple rooms over from the initial patient. and here is where it gets crazy.

shortly after learning of the woman's death, my wife went to check on a different patient. she opened the door and the woman was crying and mumbling that she hated seeing dead people.

dude, wtf!

Ghosts ghosts can be scary when they catch you off guard, and they can be annoying, but they are harmless.

It's easy really... the woman in the other room killed her and couldn't handle the guilt. Your wife just let her know that her first attempt had failed so she went back and finished the job.

:D

I had a run in with a ghost once.* Thanks for sharing the story man, this stuff always interests me.

*EDIT: Turns out it was just Teh Como.

Ghost aren't Demons? I heard that there is no such things as ghost only Demons.
Horse s#!t! Ghosts were human, Demons and elementals are considered inhuman entities, they were never human. Poltergeists would also be inhuman, and most consider them to be psycho kinetic manifestations as opposed to an intelligent entity.

The whole "No ghosts, only Demons" thing is the consensus of some Holy people, who feel that just about anything they don't understand is evil... sort of along the lines of the witch hunts. Some Churches will also deny the existence of Demons, which means the Bible is incorrect, kind of biting the hand that feeds you.

I remember the fisrt time I saw a Ghost (the movie that is), I was expecting a horror movie, instead I got a heart warming romantic drama, ahhh Demi Moore...

not exactly true because people believe in angels also.

People believe in a lot of things, but it is not what the people believe in as much as the Churches. Angels and Demons are mentioned in several religions, however, that doesn't necessarily mean it is the belief of all religious leaders. There was a movement in the last part of the 20th century, which tried to claim demons are nothing more than metaphorical rather than literal. My personal feeling is, I haven't had anybody on either side come up and introduce themselves as this or that, so I can't say whether they are or aren't what has been written about.

Matt's attempt to be funny = total failure.

Oddly enough, I am a member of our local paranormal investigative group. Funny part is we don't talk about origins, only how they can present themselves and wether or not the phenomena exists.

I've been scared out of my mind, it's really freaky stuff.

Well, gosh, yes, what are the chances of someone in a hospital thinking someone died, and then someone in the hospital actually dies later?

Sorry. :) I just don't see anything remotely creepy.
