SDHC Cards

I just managed to pick up a Panasonic GH2 and need to get a number of SDHC cards. I realize I need Class 10 cards, but on looking, there's a wide range in terms of price. I was wondering if Patriot or Kingston cards (or any of the sub-$100) cards are actually reliable. I'm on a bit of a budget, but don't want to risk losing or degrading footage. Do I need to bite the bullet and go San Disk on this one?

Between the Patriot and the Kingston, I would go with the Patriot, in general they make much better components. Personally I use the class 10 PNY Professional cards, they haven't failed me yet on my hacked GH1, and my friend who uses them on the GH2 swears by them.

Transcend is cheap and relatively reliable. Its one of the more popular cards being sold today. I havent heard of many people having problems with them.
I've been using them for about 8 years now and havent run into any problems.

I agree.
The one thing I would point out is that I would only buy them from the manufacture. There has been a lot of counterfeiting going on. Also, they have a life time warranty.

from what i hear sandisk and delkin are the best choices. followed by kingston, transcend and pny. beyond that, i wouldnt bother
