Wonderful.

Haven't got a clue what to write, have too many writing projects on...but will try and enter. After all, we all like a party. What could go wrong?

It would be great if this had it's own topic headline so it doesn't get missed in a done-and-over fest forum. Maybe all the other old stuff from fests long done can get moved too. Looking like a junk yard right now. Jus' sayin' is all.

I might try to get something in this. Who can resist a holiday?

Til Dec6th - I don't know if I get anything in that time bracket. Not like anything come to mind but the topic is fun and there's no genre requirements which is nice. I will try though.

Think I've got an idea coming to me, with a focus on drug abuse, broken families and unwashed santas....or is that too obvious?!

Week and a bit...hmm, this is going to be pretty unpolished but I accept the challenge!

Now I just need those most important of things: a butt-kicking title and a rad poster.

I can probably manage it but another week might boost participation. Still leaves a week for reading/judging before christmas.

Has anyone bagsied the title 'White Christmas' yet? I know it's obvious and unoriginal but it fits, but I'm using it if noone else is. Bad Santa meets Trainspotting...

Funny, I just realised the script I'm currently shooting on weekends meets these requirements as well. Except for page length.

I've already trademarked it.

Actually, I'm joking. I've always thought Red Christmas would be a good title though. Most likely for an X-mas themed horror film.

McCarthy based satire/horror?

Beware the reindeer under the bed.

The 64 present question: Are you or have you ever been a member of santas sledteam?

Egg - I won't be after that title. Perosnally, I wouldn't want to use a well known title, even if the script is major league different. However I cold picture a twist in an existing title, like the Red Christmas above, or A Very White Christmas, My White Christmas etc etc

Strange thing is I have a script but can't settle on the title. Normally it's the other way round.

I wouldn't use it either but it's derived from dialogue. I generally shy away from the obvious. It's my thing. But sometimes there's a line in a script (pardon the pun) that drops at a moment that makes you think, I don't like it but that's the title. The line is corny but so is the character that delivers it so I'm stuffed. Stuck with a **** title. Bear in mind christmas day is over 100F on a cool day here, even hotter inland (I'm getting a feeling this year's gonna be a bad one) but even that irony is still corny. Funnily enough it has rained on most christmas days that I can recall, these strange big fat raindrops that evaporate before they hit the ground. Usually they reach your head, sometimes your shoulders but never your feet. Seen christmas snow only once on holiday in the UK. It didn't set but we tried to pack in a childhood's worth of snow play. Mostly that involved throwing it at Dad, putting it down his shirt, in his hood, down his pants. Dad doesn't miss snow.

Has some minor spark of a fancy idea, but I'm not sure if I can do it by deadline. I'm even skeptical that it would work.
