I don't think so.
You might ask Barry_S if you could enter if this thread were nuked, but probably not. People get real prissy about rule violations, even inadvertent ones, when hundreds of dollars of prizes are on the line.

Your best hope would be to have the thread nuked and then ask if you could enter exhibition style, which means you could not compete but a lot of people would see it.

But they don't always have exhibition films every fest and I think they are trying to shy away from it.
 
Eh, I'll play by the rules. I wouldn't wanna nuke this thread anyway. My Letus Extreme came in the mail a few days ago and I haven't even opened the box, maybe I can make something in time for submission...
 
this was amazing. loved the composition. your shots were well chosen and it was very interesting. Loved the story. great work! enter this into a festival, you'll win.

The compositions were well done, the cc was very nice, the story was cool...... but my absolute favorite thing about your short.....
