UPDATE: Well, I asked the second level manager of the commercial dept. here at work about borrowing the DVX to shoot this. He said that he could not give me an answer, but that he figured it would probably be ok.
So I will ask the head hancho later this week about it. Hopefully I can.

Wow I wish I had my act together enough to work with a composer, but that's mainly why I do it myself -- so it can be done at the last possible minute.
Somebody should really snap this guy up -- I can only guess he's looking to do some more scoring work to demo his skills there cuz he's done a lot of song work.

Chris, what's the catch? Fees/rates you're thinking of? Or are you looking to expand your portfolio with more original work, created for features, shorts, etc.?
If it's the latter, I'd LOVE to work with you. Unfortunately, we've already agreed to another young, aspiring composer to let him score our short on spec. That said, I'm kicking my own ass now after seeing your offer. Ouch! :grin:

haha...i'm just trying to have some fun scoring/sound designing some good shorts. if i do receive a lot of inquiries, i'll choose the one i feel most interested in. hey, anyone know if there is an entry limit? can i score more than one?
Jarred's the boss but I bet you could.
He want's us to make the best films we can.
See what he says though -- I don't think that's ever come up -- Somebody editing one persons film and DPing another, or composing for a couple or several.

Curious, are you doing this for free? from what I've seen on your website you look like you're doing well!

no catch..just looking to add some amazing looking work to my scoring reel...i'll probably ask for a low fee if i'm not digging someone's rough cut but they really want me to help them out.
