why do people keep saying 3k for under 3k, I find it a bit immature, anyone with
half a brain knows that scarlet will not cost 3k
First, I don't appreciate the name calling. If anything, that's what's immature in this conversation.
How many RED ONE cameras came with a built in mic, zoom lens, flip out LCD, CF slots, etc. There's a lot more built in to Scarlet than there was with the RED ONE, so I'd say that the claim of 3K for $3k is pretty solid. 'Sides, it isn't like you can buy an EX1, HVX, or XLH1s without some supporting gear to go with it. You'd need a case, tripod, P2/SxS/MiniDV recording media, filters, mattebox, and whatever else you think you'd need.
we are all friends here plus so much stuff gets poorly interpreted on text
peace
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Well put, my friend. I personally like the unique styles of Mr. Jannard... but to be honest, I wouldn't care if this thing looked like a milk carton. As long as it shoots at 3k, and is priced under 3k, I'll be one of the first in line.
Does anyone have 2/3" frame grabs with the lenses set to 2.8f?

Doesn't this look like a Scarlet with all the "accoutrements"?
